Bus Ticket Offer

We’ve teamed up with the National Express West Midlands to bring you an exclusive on bus ticket offer to the Magical Lantern Festival, which take places between Friday 25th November 2016 and Monday 2nd January 2017, 5:00pm and 10:00pm.

If you’re coming to our event, you can get a Family Daysaver ticket for just £5, when you show your tickets or email confirmation to the driver. Just ask for a ‘promo discounted day saver’.

A family day saver is valid for up to 6 people to travel together on NEWM buses, up to 2 adults and 4 children.

Our 22, 23, 24 or 29 buses stop directly outside the Gardens on Westbourne Road.

Alternatively buses 9, 120, 126, 127, 129, 140 or X10 stop on the Hagley Road, which is an 8 minute walk along Vicarage Road.

Please note – there is no parking at the gardens for this event as the space will be used as part of the festival.

Travel by Car

From the M40 Take M42 West to M5 then leave at junction 3 and take A456 signposted City Centre. Turn right onto B4129 (Norfolk Road) signposted Botanical Gardens.

From the M6 leave at junction 6 and take A38(M) to City Centre. Follow underpasses signposted Birmingham West to A456. At Five Ways island turn left onto B4217 (Calthorpe Road) signposted Botanical Gardens.

For local traffic follow signs for Edgbaston then follow brown tourist signs to Botanical Gardens.

Please note: The Birmingham Botanical Gardens car park is reserved for disabled badge holders and drop off, pick only. If customers drive they must find parking on one of the local side roads close to the venue. Thank you.

Travel By Bus

Bus numbers 10, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 29 stop in Westbourne Road (Westbound) and Harborne Road (Eastbound).
