Magical Lantern Festival Scotland - Lantern Highlights

Legendary Chinese Dragon

Visitors will be in awe of this 30-metre long legendary Chinese Dragon. Chinese dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particular control over water, rainfall, typhoons, and floods. This breath-taking lantern is the most beautiful cultural lantern in the festival.

Noah's Ark

One of the key highlights of the festival is the lantern recreation of Noah's Ark, the biblical vessel which carried animals to safety. Lantern animals surround the Ark including life sized zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos and much more making this one of the most beautiful scenes in the festival.

Polar Bears on Ice

Xmas is not complete without a Polar Bear scene and we have produced a stunning larger-than-life lantern scene of a pack of Polar bears resting on a glacier of ice.

Gingerbread House

Children will marvel at our lantern version of the Gingerbread House from the world-famous Hansel & Gretel fairy tale, complete with lantern lollipops and sweets.

Scottish Highland Bagpipes

A five-meter high lantern recreation of Scottish highland bagpipes, an iconic piece to please all our Scottish visitors.
